(More) Summer Lovin': Michaela's Mind

Just on the off chance you were in the mood for a bit more Physique freakery...



Erotic and genuinely disturbing in equal measure (which makes her even more erotic, the will to go to such extremes and revel in doing so!) is what I say. You say, among other things, that she is "amazing", and "awesome", and that "she's on another level now". That you look at this picture and all you can think is "I love muscle women! WOW!!!", and that "even a train would stop to look at that". "Look how happy you are!" exclaims one of Michaela's Instagram devotees. Exactly my point. What woman in their right mind would get so much pleasure from being so disgustingly muscular?!

SAMMICA CASH - SHE'S A KNOCKOUT



Traps, delts, pecs, abs and biceps. What more could you want? (Actually, don't answer that, we don't want your "tattoo removal" comments.) Anyway, all those beautiful muscles plus our first acknowledged "glove bra". Well done Sammica! There are two types of fighters, she tells us, the first strike all over the place hoping one will land, the other, assured of their prowess and capabilities, hit once and destroy an opponent's desire to continue the fight! Look out for Sammica at the Tampa Pro this weekend.

JACQUELYN HICKERSON - FOCUS



Probably a bit artful to really win a popular vote (he said, playing the reverse psychology card on the clearly very cultured and knowledgeable readership), but there's a reason why Jacquelyn is surrounded by blur. I’m still learning to mentally blur things in my surroundings/life/mind that are unimportant, insignificant, or derailing, she says. I’d rather have a clear focus on what’s imperative. See? Visual representation of mental process. How often do you get that from your muscle goddess? [well, actually... -ed.] Swell loves what's inside the head of this beautiful, eloquent, witty young woman almost as much as the rest of her. Almost.

MARGA OVERBY - IN MY HOUSE (I WISH!)



I do love a topless back double biceps, especially when there's a thong involved too. Marga Overby was, I believe, last seen on stage in 2015, but if this pic is recent (and I've not been able to confirm that it is) then it looks as though she'll be back on stage again soon. Sadly, she won't be topless (from the front or rear) and sadly (and fairly obviously) this wasn't taken at my house (where the door frames are much wider).

BLAKELEE ORTEGA - A GROWING CONCERN



She'd be properly scary if she wasn't so damn cute, said FMS after bringing you "aspiring Physique competitor" Blakelee for the first time on the blog back in January. Progress has been made since then, and if you haven't been following her on Instagram, you should see what you've been missing. The moment when a young muscle women decides to go "full beast" is something I don't think I will ever tire of. As you read this, Blakelee will be just a single day out from her first show - the Knox Classic. I, for one, won't only be looking out for images from Tampa this weekend.

SHANNON COURTNEY - v.2018



New breasts, a bit of facial work, and she's kind of let the definition and size go a bit, but as far as I'm concerned, a new rush of Shannon pics on the forums means she's still got "it". There are, of course, those who don't like what they see so much - "I really miss the old Shannon" etc. - but there's many many more who, like me, are more than impressed with v.2018. She's maturing like a fine wine, reckons one (still) Shannon fan. Full-bodied and fruity. She's perfecting muscular sensuality, says another. I could go on, but I'd rather finish typing sooner rather than later and I think you can guess why...

Summer Lovin': The Mystery of Angela Heider

She appears to have arrived on the forums more or less fully formed.



I mean, it doesn't look like she started on those muscles recently, does it? That is a body of work right there - check out those forearms in particular, pretty much as big as (if not bigger than) her upper arms!!! And her back (below) - so much to explore!!!



I did my research, and frankly, didn't find much. A couple of pics from 2015 - major progress, I confirmed, has been made - and then at the back end of last year suddenly new images start appearing more regularly. In 2018, however, there's a been even more of her, and I don't just mean she's grown. More and more of her pics are currently going up on the forums. There's not exactly a torrent of them, but this year we have been treated to more new images of her than in the previous three combined.



I tried to find her social media, eventually resorting to posting a "Help Wanted" plea on Girls with Muscle. I didn't have to wait long for the reply - her Instagram page. Champagne corks popped in my head as I anticipated how I would be spending the next two, three, possibly four hours... But then - This Account Is Private

Oh.



Request sent.

It's not unusual. It's fully understandable. I mean, I'm totally cool, the perfect Instagram follower, I like to think, but there are quite a lot out there who bring female muscle lovin' into disrepute, so yeah, This Account Is Private, I respect that. So I waited. And waited. And I'm still waiting. And while I'm waiting, a message comes, a late response to my "Help Wanted" plea on GwM: She is insanely hot! it begins. Only hope to get into her IG it seems is to msg the author of the Saradas post on her.



WHAT?!

I'm still waiting for three replies now. The original from Angela's IG; a reply to my reply to "maximumpecs" (who told me to "msg the author"); and now a reply to my message to the author of the post on the forum whose first rule is... about that assertion.



"Maximumpecs" is definitely right about one thing though, Angela is insanely hot. She seems all grown up too, so why she would need a social media gatekeeper is beyond me. If true, however, whoever that gatekeeper to her IG is, they really should let a few more good guys in, eg. me (obvs.) and (equally obvs.) my informed, respectful, and admiring readership. Nearly 2,000 posts and she only has just over 800 followers?!

One-Armed Wonders: A Legend Is Back (In the Gym)

Not bad for 6 weeks of training, and being retired from competing (no training for 10 months and I am 51!). Ready for clients soon - figured I should start before the clients.



51 or not, with one flex of her mighty bicep, she looks just like her old self.



Tampa in 2012 was the last time we saw her "stuff of legends" biceps flexed on stage, the end of a five-year pro career. After first competing in the late 1990s, she won her pro card in 2007 at the Masters Nationals. She went to just one Olympia, and had just one top 3 pro finish in her 12 pro shows. Looks to me as if - at 51 - she might, in this much less competitive time for FBBs, do rather better if she wanted to put on the suit again.



I'm getting ahead of myself though. As amazing as she looks, all 51-year-old Debbie Bramwell is for now is back in the gym, news which, quite by coincidence, we learned at a time we were planning a week of biceps. Time to get into the archives...



We found that Debbie must have been one of the more photographed women of her time. Back in those days we had money to burn on memberships, so the Debbie archive bulges like the peaks on her "wide and long" biceps, all dazzling smile, luscious hair and hard, muscular, vascular and darkly-tanned physique in lingerie, in posing suits, in string bikinis, and (personal faves) in heels and a variety of sexy, revealing dresses.



She really was photographed by them all, from Awefilms to the Valkyrie, from HerBiceps to Muscle Angels via WPW, FT Video, and Tom Nine. Dan Ray and Bill Dobbins both shot her multiple times, and her career coincided with the boom in free contest pictures, so we've literally got hundreds of those to treasure as well.



With her hairstylist background and sculpted physique, she embodied her own take on the appeal of the muscular female body. I personally feel that women bodybuilders are the sexiest woman, Debbie said in 2009. Nothing like a shapely, strong physique and beautiful lines. What's more feminine than that? Fans never seemed to get tired of her. Even last year she was still getting Hot and Hard 100 votes, a testament to her enduring appeal despite the fact that the surgeon responsible for the last phase of her enhancements was (and probably still is) top of every female muscle fans blacklist.



From the first time you see those biceps flex, you're sold. So thick and long, with their beautiful rising peaks. The hard ball of vascular muscle in her forearm, her meaty, bulbous tricep almost mirroring its more famous cousin below. And that vein, that cord-like vein running along the base of her bicep and into her muscle pit...



Anyone who knows the sport knows your arms are among the best, Promoting Real Women put it to her in 2010. Would you consider them your best feature? They certainly aren't the biggest out there, she replied. But they do have a unique shape.

Marthe Sundby: The Final Flex

Marthe wouldn't compete again for another three years after her trip to California.



She continued to work as a property developer at Colliers in Oslo, where she had started her professional career in 2007. I have a regular life, and feel completely normal, she said in 2015. I go to work in normal clothes, and act like everyone else. I have a normal job in a normal office where fortunately there is room to be yourself, whether you have hard muscles or a belly that hangs over the waist edge.

But on social media, the pictures that Marthe was posting when she was out of her work clothes (or even sometimes completely out of her clothes altogether) were alerting female muscle lovers to the fact that Marthe was actually really rather exceptional.



Or as one fan put it, she was "the most beautiful muscular woman in the world".



A dazzling muscle goddess.



The perfect woman.



I've been doing the muscle admiration thing for a LONG time, wrote another of her fans, and this is the most extraordinarily beautiful site I have ever laid eyes on.



Her bulging muscles and exploding veins ooze strength and sexuality.



Images like this ensure Marthe will be a legend.

FMS@RP2017: The Comeback

After the Omaha Pro and the resulting fallout (see FMS passim), and the threat we'd never see her on stage again. After the Facebook slanging match with her "iron sisters" (see also FMS passim), Aleesha Young's retirement came to a thankfully premature end right here. And didn't she do well - Top 6 plus the "Most Muscular" award.

She had promised her fans she wouldn't let up on the training during her time away, and she was as good as her word, so when the "special invite" came, she was already looking trouser-threateningly good. The package she brought to the stage was (I think) her best ever, and it got her the same 6th place she'd taken at the 2015 Rising Phoenix.



I want to thank all of my fans and supporters of Female Bodybuilding, she said afterwards. You guys near and far motivate me more than you'll ever know and I truly appreciate the words of encouragement and support, especially through this contest prep as it certainly proved to be my most difficult to date. I'm forever grateful to all of you, and any role you have played in getting me on stage. Thank you again.



Can you feel the love?

It flowed right back, and not just from the likes of me and you ("Nobody had legs like you, or glutes, or upper body mass... nobody! I would have placed you way higher, top three for sure! Congratulations for this tremendous showing!!!"), but also from her peers, Isabelle Turell ("so powerful") and Anne Sheehan ("so proud of you").



And also there was love from the new Queen herself - Proud of you, Helle, having recovered from her celebrations, wrote on Aleesha's Instagram. Great look you came with and it paid off. I 100% knew the Most Muscular Award belonged to you.



Praise indeed! And I'm very happy she's back. The Rising Phoenix can't afford to lose class acts like Aleesha, wrote one forum poster after the Omaha judging debacle.

I reckon she proved him right.
