(More) Summer Lovin': Bumbum #1

Despite hot, hard and disproportionately developed competition from the likes of Suelen Bissolati and more recently Alessandra Alvez, Gracyanne Barbosa remains Brazil's bumbum #1. Heading towards 7 million Instagram followers - Suelen and Alessandra both have less than half a million, and even Eva Andressa Vieira with 4.6 million isn't in the same league - and, although not a competitive Bodybuilder, Gracyanne was in your Hot and Hard 100 for the fifth consecutive year in 2018.



Mostly, it's Gracyanne's spectacular lower body, her world-renowned bumbum and thunder thighs, that get all the attention - and rightly so. However, I'm sure I'm not the only one who's noticed that recently as well as adding definition to her prodigious size down below, Gracyanne has also been getting bigger and more defined up top.



This is all good. As a female muscle lover, more muscle is always good. But spare a thought for Gracyanne. Suddenly nothing in her wardrobe (that isn't super stretchy) seems to fit anymore. For a while I could still do my jeans up as long as I didn't have any underwear on, she explains. But now I can't even do that. Worse still, her ever-growing body has actually destroyed a fair portion of her wardrobe. Not that anyone's complained, but it's pretty awkward when your top just rips open in public, she says. And I'm having my lingerie custom-made now because everything off-the-peg bursts at the seams as soon as I put it on. Not that her husband's complaining...



Is her love of pole fitness responsible for this growth spurt?

Or is it - notwithstanding somewhat ridiculous accusations that she is the "Queen of Fake Weights" (ie. that in her training videos the amount she seems to be shifting is just a few actual weights plus a load of 0kg "fake" ones) - simply that she trains really hard?



Whatever she's doing, it's working.

Heart Muscle

It's become our custom to get all muscle loved up in St. Valentina's Week, and it'll be more of the same this year. With the 2018 Hot and Hard 100 voting now open, there won't be too much focus on "current" (or in FMS' case more often than not "current a couple of weeks ago") female muscle so as not to unduly influence anyone's selections.



We begin this Week of LOVE with hearts.



Now we've seen this kind of heart before on FMS, and editorial were a little concerned this post would just be a rehash of a previous one focusing on the heart made by ripped hamstrings in the "moon pose" or similar. But ol' Swell has found hearts elsewhere too.



Bum hearts!



Often, though not exclusively, Brazilian.



Some, it seems, can even sweat hearts!



Whether by design (I imagine, could such a perfect heart shape be coincidental?) or (I'm much more convinced by sweaty beast Irina Derkachyova) accident.

Summer Break I: Day 5

In the past, FMS has tended to close up shop for weeks over the summer, usually during August. We've tried not to leave you FMS-less on those occasions, and have consequently come up with ideas like Legs Month, August Picture Post, and, last year, While the Slave's Away to tide you over while we're sunning ourselves.

This year we're not shutting up the offices for one long holiday but a series of shorter breaks, but our commitment to give you at least one stunning example of female muscle heat to look at every day remains. So this year it's Summer Breaks, and this week we're taking our first of the year. We hope you enjoy our selections.

Legs in Leggings: Thighs, Glutes and Bodysuits

It's a wonder anyone gets anything done in that country given all the distractions, although they certainly seem to be making some of the 'Progress' their iconic flag demands. Brazil is a growing economic force undergoing a much-needed social revolution, and as the host of not only the next World Cup but also the next Olympics, you can't help feeling that the country is on the cusp of greatness.

But Brazil, it seems to me, is already the world leader in sexy workout gear, and has plenty of sexy women who work out to wear it. If my experience is anything to go by, if you're out and about in the UK and you see a really sexy shapely pair of legs in a pair of sexy leggings, the chances are you have just been ogling a woman from Brazil.

So, let's see how long you can keep your hands above the table as FMS showcases two of the sexiest Brazilian women we know (which kind of automatically makes them two of the world's sexiest), their Brazilian thighs and glutes straining to be released from their skin-tight Brazilian leggings and their second-skin Brazilian bodysuits.


Andressa Vieira



Born in 1984, Eva Andressa Vieira Nascimento hails from Curitiba, the capital and largest city of the state of Paraná, in the south of Brazil.



She was the NABBA Figure champion in her home state in 2005, and in 2006 won both state and national NABBA titles. In 2008, she won the IFBB Brazilian Body Fitness title, repeating the feat in 2009.



After appearing on a national TV programme a year later, she moved from being famous in the world of fitness, to simply being famous. In fact she's famous enough to have a nickname in the national consciousness Musa Fitness, 'The Fitness Muse'. Marvellous that a fitness champion can become a celebrity in Brazil, as if Louise Rogers or Rosanna Harte were suddenly all over the British media after an appearance on The One Show. If only!



For those who liked their Andressa as lean and ripped as she was in her competitive days, the more mainstream 'curvaceous' look she now has might not be ideal, but consolation that she hasn't forgotten her biceps can be found in a recent video clip, and besides, you have to admit, she does fill out those leggings and bodysuits rather well.


Gracyanne Barbosa



You don't have to have muscles to be a carnival queen... but it sure helps!



Gracyanne Jacobina Vieira Barbosa hails from the Mato Groso region of western Brazil and left home to seek her fortune in Rio de Janeiro as a lawyer. Yep, a lawyer. Didn't quite work out that way, but she certainly found her fortune.



Spotted by a musical group who needed a dancer, she wiggled and jiggled herself to fame, and subsequently became one of Brazil's most famous carnival queens. It seems that one of the qualifications for that job is muscle, at least in the leg and glute departments, which explains why she's as well-known to female muscle heads as any top fitness, figure or physique competitor.



If you're in any doubt how hard she trains, check out this 'hardcore' session. You have got to love a country where the Playboy centrefolds work this hard to sculpt glutes as breathtaking as Gracyanne's.



Truly her magnificent rear is one of the Wonders of the Female Muscle World. And nothing shows it off better than one of the seemingly endless array of tight tight bodysuits she has in her wardrobe.

I'll say it again. How on earth does anyone ever get anything done there?!
