Tales of the Towel: On Madarasi Hargita

Rising to a peak of 1,801m in the Romanian Eastern Carpathians, Madarasi Hargita is one of the highest and most visited mountains in the region. And in January this year, Susanna Tirpak was indulging her new passion for photography right there.

"Beauty on highest level" is how she describes the place, even if she might as well be talking about herself. And if you are wondering exactly why I have a picture of a fully-clothed (albeit ravishingly beautiful) Susanna in the snow (even when the way she's holding the camera is sexy!) in a week of posts that feature towels, well, as Susanna says, there's nothing better than "a hot shower after a day out in the freezing cold".



Except perhaps a picture - or indeed two - of a ravishing muscle beauty like Susanna after her hot shower after her day out in the freezing cold in nothing but a towel.



As far as I can tell, Susanna gets more gorgeous on an almost daily basis, but you don't have to take my utterly smitten word for it - see for yourself on her Instagram.

If you do, you've probably, like me, been into female muscle since the magazine years. Swedish legend Veronica Dahlin, leotarded, impossibly beautiful, and displaying her bronzed muscle-bound upper body while shopping at a greengrocer's (near you?).

This picture certainly got my teenaged arse enthused about the weekly trip to Safeway's for a time, thoughts of encounters with Veronica-like muscle goddesses in the fresh fruit and veg section. Sadly, but unsurprisingly, my dreams never came true.

I didn't forget the picture though, and coming across it again recently (courtesy of one of those heroic scanners) I was struck firstly by how very very 80s it looks, but also by how similar it was to a recent post I'd seen by Susanna Tirpak on her Instagram.

Late nite shopping, Susanna says. Nothing all that exciting. Well, not unless you were lucky enough to be another late nite shopper at Susanna's local supermarket (or indeed a late nite shift pulling employee). I imagine for them it was something exciting...

No leotard. And the local greengrocer's has been replaced by a giant supermarket chain. Lettuce for watermelon. And more muscle - remember Veronica was a bodybuilder, Susanna, these days, "just" has the muscles of a Figure competitor!

DISBELIEF?

Right now, ie. as you read this, I am somewhere like this. Minus the muscle goddess. There may well be a dude rubbing his eyes in the pool though. Rubbing his eyes and thinking to himself "Can that guy over there really be that pasty? His skin is acting like a prism. I may be blind!" As opposed to this guy here who is clearly rubbing his eyes and thinking to himself "Susanna Tirpak?! Tell me I'm not dreaming..."



If he's not careful, he could go blind.

Hot and Hard: FMS Approved

The FMS Quality Control Department are a tireless bunch, working 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year (they don't have to work at Christmas, but they do) to check every single image of muscular beauty that passes through the office. The team can assess between three hundred and - at peak times - three thousand images per day, ensuring that only the very best make it onto the blog for your viewing pleasure.

No clothing necessary! Without question Sierra Mangus gets an A for avoiding Instagram censorship using only a hand bra, but she doesn't get top marks because the phone is already covering where she's put her hand. Great effort though.

FMS firmly believes that the muscular woman should never ever miss an opportunity to bring joy to the world. If the city's in gridlock, there's no reason why you shouldn't be using the time to flex, snap, and upload your hard-earned gains. Good girl!

Lifts may be almost as good as gyms when it comes to female muscle sightings in Brazil if the plethora of such images is anything to go by. Make the men gawp. Make their wives so jealous they'll resolve to hit the gym as soon as they get home. Sexy Susanna Tirpak improves the marriages of every single couple staying at the hotel that week with a single pose. What a heroine!

You suffer for your art, so enjoy it when you can. Danielle Reardon drops the pants (in fact she seem to have discarded them completely) and gets the glootz out. Almost impossible to look at this picture and not feel love. Gold standard. A++

WHAT NOT TO DO ON A DATE WITH NATALIA





This was not rejected for the quality of the picture nor, indeed, for the muscle on display but for the utter stupidity of the photographer, and it's included here as a cautionary tale. Does Natalia look like she's in the mood to pose for a photograph? Never, EVER make a female bodybuilder wait for her food. In fact, never EVER prioritise anything over food. Moments later Natalia's date learned his lesson the hard way. It only hurts when he breathes now, but please, don't make the same mistake.

Swell Digs: Tube of the Week

STUNNING SUSANNA TIRPAK by FITNESS EXPOSURE

Since 2012, photographer Zoltan Veigh has been producing quality images of (an apparently endless supply of) beautiful, muscular Central/Eastern European women, many from his native Hungary, available to buy on his Fitness Exposure website.

I'm ashamed to say I've never actually put my hand in my pocket to buy any of these images, but like many of you gorgeous readers (I imagine) I am glued to his YouTube channel and the long "photoshooting" clips he puts up there which bring us the story of the photos, and allow us to enjoy the likes of Gabriella Bankuti, Olga Kulinych, Bettina Nagy Gabriella Szabo etc. preening and posing for his camera.

His latest offering treats us to the impossible beauty of FMS fave Susanna Tirpak glammed up and in a sleeveless dress that hugs her magnificent body like, well, like I would if I were fabric, and showcases her delicious arms. Much much flexing!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I get why most guys, my non-female muscle head friends say, would find it hard to understand my attraction to the really big female muscle beasts. Anne Freitas, for example, is, without doubt, an acquired taste, and while I might not think she is "masculine", I can see why others would. But when I read comments that beauties like Susanna "look too much like a man", I can't help thinking the author has got it all wrong. Susanna is so obviously all woman. A beautiful, curvy, sexy, muscular woman. For eight and a half minutes. Enjoy!

Woman vs Ice Cream

We've been very good, nutritionally-speaking, this week. We deserve a treat.



Hungary's beautiful Arnold Classic Europe Physique champion, Susanna Tirpak, tucks into a tub after her victory in Madrid last year. I have a sweet tooth, says Susanna. I Just LOVE everything that’s sweet!



And another lady who likes to celebrate with ice cream when the contest's over is Britain's own Christal 'The Spartan' Cornick. Watch out for Christal this year - FMS thinks you may well be looking at the next UKBFF FBB champion.

The 2012 NPC Nationals Heavyweight and Overall Champion says, I love posing. We’re not surprised. How many 43-year-olds get to show off a body like that. Without question, Juanita will be a star of the future. In all probability, the very near future.

You can say all you want about her ‘enhancements’, about how it’s spoilt her for you, about how you prefer ‘the natural look’. We ain’t listening, we're not going to debate you, we’re looking at Aleesha. And what we see is a whole lot of woman. Beautiful, curvaceous, muscular woman. She just looks so… well, juicy.

Like most readers of the blog (I imagine) I tend to seek my female muscle from within the bodybuilding and fitness scene, paying little or no attention to the sport of powerlifting. Stunningly beautiful, Susanna came to our attention last year at the Arnold Classic Europe. I’m quite shy in real life, says Susanna, but once I’m on stage I open up, I feel great. When FMS was compiling our list of favourite examples of German womanhood last year, this prime specimen was, naturally on the list. And when the researchers started to find out about Skadi’s life outside the sport, our admiration grew exponentially. It’s uncanny how often this happens when we research these fabulous women. Ever watched the Winter Olympics and admired the speed skaters’ legs? Well…

Marthe swapped her blades for barbells in the mid-90s, and became national champion in 2006. She disappeared off the radar for a few years, so FMS were delighted when she returned to the stage last year to again clean up at the Norwegian championships. An exceptional sportswoman, and achingly beautiful with it. And those legs...


NANCY RICHARD

40 this year, Nancy has three kids, and the kind of Amazonian body that can take your breath away, and that’s exactly what she’s been doing since we first saw her in a backstage contest-shape interview clip last year. Dark, beautiful looks, tanned and oiled, her pumped up muscles glistening, we all fell in love right then and there. But then she spoke... French! Je suis Nancy Richard… [je swee non-see ree-shar] she said. Oh my.


KAROLINA HOLUBCOVA


The latest red hot muscle babe to emerge from the Czech Republic, she’s known as ‘Cute Karolina’ and it would be churlish to say that nickname wasn’t appropriate.
