Time to bow down again. The Queen of Quads and the Bringer of Quadgasms dresses up in her "official" costume for our penultimate day of quadtastic Rolling Thunder...

1. LUCIANA ANDRADE



From the archive, Rio's fondly-remembered Luciana Andrade and her Brazilian thunder thighs. It wasn't that long ago that Luciana was on our screens and in our female muscle lovin' heads, but they were very different times - and I'm not talking about download speeds or clip resolutions. In Brazil, Luciana said at the peak of her fame, there is not much opportunity for female bodybuilders to get sponsors. And as a result, like other Brazilian muscle pioneers such as Monica Martin and Larissa Reis, she made her home in the USA. It's indicative of the extent of the rise of Brazilian female muscle that this would cerainly not be a necessary career move these days.

MARIA LUISA BAEZA DIAZ



Now I'm not the biggest fan of the Figure, but when I get to the time to sit down and watch the best the division has to offer strut their stuff, I'm always impressed by just how much muscle these women actually carry, not least Chile's (as far as I know only) Olympian, Maria Luisa. Watch her in action at this year's Olympia here - she's up first after the black screen at about 1.50. Sadly her walk-on, which is kind of the best bit for appreciating her thighs, is missing, but luckily you can appreciate Maria Luisa (and her thighs) from all kinds of angles in this Violate the Dress Code photo shoot clip.

REMEMBER MY NAME!

VICTORIA QUADROS



Now I did know that there are Iniut tribes who name their children according to their characteristics as an infant, but I didn't know it happened in Brazil too! Quadros. And it's not (as far as I can ascertain) a nom de fer, either, but her real surname. Sticking it through Google Translate, I was disappointed to find that it doesn't actually mean "girl with enormous quadriceps", but "pictures", "paintings", "frames" or "tables" (like cuadros in Spanish). But as languages are constantly evolving, who's to say what quadros might mean when this thigh phenomenon is finished with her evolution?!



Victoria's only 20 now, so there's plenty of evolution to come. And you can follow the most aptly-named woman in Porto Alegre on her Facebook and/or Instagram.

THIGHLIGHT

EMMA SUE



The forgotten beautiful beefcake of British female muscle, Emma Sue only competed twice as a pro after winning the (then) EBBF Championships in 1999. Those were the days! Jaw-droppingly huge women everywhere, and British female bodybuilders could get their pro cards by winning their national title. She was last seen at the NY Pro in 2010 (below), and you can watch her routine from that show with commentary by her sister - who, among other things, puts Emma's funkiness down to the fact that "she goes clubbing with her daughter all the time". Imagine walking into a club and finding Emma throwing shapes on the dancefloor... Maybe I should resurrect my DJing career!



But those gorgeous muscles weren't just for show on the stage and the dance floor though, as this clip of Emma shoulder pressing 100kg on each side demonstrates, she was a seriously super strong British Amazon. And there's quite a bit more of Emma in action on her YouTube page, and she's also on Facebook, updated (for the first time in two years) at the end of September with a request for info as to where she could find "that perfect warehouse" in South London in order to open a gym. Which kind of makes me think I should probably move back to South London with my dusted off decks...

CHLOE SANNITO



Chloe Sannito is going to be a competitor to watch in the NPC Figure Division, Physique Posing reckoned in April 2014. Leg development in any physique sport is the determinant of the best conditioning, the hardest worker, the one paying attention to the details. Chloe Sannito had the best legs I’d seen all summer, they added. And at the time of the show they were talking about, Chloe was just 17! By the end of the night, the buzz was all about Chloe Sannito, "the teen figure girl". Chloe's 19 now, still a teenage Figure phenomemon, and the buzz shows no sign of dying down.

2. CINARA POLIDO



Who am I? asks Cinara on her latest blog post. She calls herself a "Sports Consultant", an expert in the preparation of athletes for bodybuilding shows and in nutrition and training "for any purpose". She began weight training herself in 2000, and first competed in 2008. After a two-year break she competed again, and the last couple of years have seen her achieve spectacular results. In fact, since winning the NABBA Brazil title in 2013, she hasn't ever finished outside the top 3 in an international NABBA show, and is the reigning NABBA World Trained Figure (ie. Physique) champion.



On FMS passim, we've tended to get hypnotised by another part of Cinara's lower body, her spectacular glutes, but revisiting those clips now, it's hard to believe we missed how equally spectacular her thighs are. Marvel at how they come to life when she flexes down on them, each individual muscle rippling in glorious definition.



Now there might not be any beating "Quadros" as a name for a Brazilian female bodybuilder, but as I had the page open, I couldn't resist running polido through it as well. And the translation (would you believe?) is "polished". She's Ms Polished. Pretty apt as well I think you will agree, because "polished" is exactly how Cinara has looked every single time I've had the fortune to watch one of her NABBA performances.



And I expect we will next see Cinara at the NABBA Universe at the end of October, and I certainly wouldn't bet against Ms Polished adding that title to her World crown.

The Queen claiming her throne at the inaugural Texas Pro, mega quads and all. Quite apart from being the first Ms Rising Phoenix (and the winner of the biggest prize female bodybuilding has ever seen - CHA CHING!) Margie was once a marine, and claims to be "The Bringer of Quadgasms". Too many athletes stop when their muscles begin to burn, she says. Me - I'm just getting warmed up! Ah! So that's her secret...

QUAD TREASURE FROM THE ARCHIVE

KIM KING



WPW cover star and 1991 NPC Nationals Heavyweight and Overall champion Kim King is a name (and body) many a female muscle head of a certain age will remember. Her glorious amateur career was followed by a single pro appearance at the 1992 Jan Tana, where she finished 9th, but I simply could not resist finding a place for her and those "legendary" thighs in one of this week's posts. She was one of my favorites in those times, one forum poster recalls. She had extraordinarily built legs!



To be honest, I was desperate to get the on stage shot of Kim in her old school posing suit (above right) into the week. Just look at how she presents that super ripped, super flexed, super massive thigh of hers to the judges with such full-on animal intensity.

From Belo Horizonte, Claudia says, I'm feminine, yes! My muscles are only part of my strong personality! More feminine than many women without muscles. That's me!!! Readers may recall from FMS' Images of 2014 that Claudia likes to take that femininity of hers to the beach and make other women look somewhat inferior. Yes, that's her!!!

And our second brasileira do dia is the reigning NABBA champ of southern Brazil and a top 3 finisher at this year's NABBA Brazil to boot. Yes, 2015's been very boa for Curitiba's Mayara Barros Bueno. Follow her next move via her Facebook page.

INSTANEZZY



The other day we had a first for FMS with Hulda Lopez, our first female bodybuilder from Honduras. Well, here's another first. "Instanezzy" or "Inez" is based in Perth, Western Australia, but though we have had our fair share of Aussie muscle freaks before, we've never (knowingly) featured one who's originally from Indonesia.



She's also the first female bodybuilder we've featured here who prefers to call herself a bodyrebuilder, which suggests there may well be a stunning transformation picture out there somewhere that the research team haven't managed to locate as yet.



But thankfully she isn't shy of taking a selfie or two, and even better she's into juxtaposing said selfies in order to demonstrate her spectacular progress. I wonder how she got those thighs so big so quickly... Sunday legs session: 1. Legs extensions super set with leg press; 2. Seated hamstring curls; 3. Lying hamstring curls; 4. Hamstrings extensions on seated calves machine; 5. Calves raises on leg press machine; 6. Glute kickbacks machine; 7. High reps good mornings; 8. Back squats.



She's cute as a button. And on Instagram pretty much daily.

Aleesha. Not so much "quads in motion" as "camera in motion", and I dare say a sight that sets a few "hands in motion" too! We've already seen Aleesha this week so these two fantasy thighs don't add to the total, but a gif worth posting, I'm sure you'll agree...

Belle, Buck and Triple Dee and muscles that will take more than a skin tight outfit to cover up. A lot more. Just imagine walking in the gym and copping an eyeful such as these! "Death by sudden blood reassignment" is, I believe, how the coroners have phrased their verdicts in similar cases of female muscle headed misadventure.

Today, we pass the halfway point in our Week of 100 Thighs. We've got a classy Canadian favourite, an exotically-named Swede, Brazilians - of course - and the woman who makes us (and much of the rest of the female muscle lovin' world) go NG! And as if that weren't enough, the self-styled "Musclebunny" of British Physique too.

1. ANGELICA TEODORO



BOOM! Meet Angelica Teodoro. Well, her bombastic thighs anyway. What we can tell you about Angelica, aka Angel Maromba, is that she's Brazilian, and er... that's about it, I'm afraid. She seems to have been around for the last five years or so, and seems to be the kind of woman who isn't shy about lifting up her little skirt to give us a good old-fashioned gander at those bad boys. That is to say, my kind of woman!



Maybe you can work out more than the entire FMS research team has been able to when you visit her Facebook and Instagram. And even if you can't, there's plenty more quadtastic images to enjoy. Boa Caçada! as they (probably) say in Porto Alegre.

JODIE "MUSCLEBUNNY" DURKIN



From the beautiful south-west of England, comes the very beautiful and utterly charming British Physique competitor Jodie Durkin. I'm a regular girl, she says. Working a normal job earning a normal wage. No sponsorship, no fancy pants anything, just a very determined, hard-working girl with a BIG dream. Time was we could barely last a day without spending some quality time with Tina and her perfect parts. On medical advice though we have managed to keep ourselves largely Nguyen-free for the past month or so (although a recent photoshoot with Tina, Spain's Ana Cozar and Brazilian legend Larissa Reis did cause us to go into remission for a few days). Everything's back under control now. Sort of.

When a Beautiful Girl Falls in Love with Muscles... is the name of the clip. Its maker - whose Oldschoolfbb channel is well worth thoroughly investigating - reckons the 23-year-old Tua Cecilia is "the most beautiful fitness woman in the world". Someone get her a Hollywood contract, he adds. She has amazing features. Angelina Jolie has nothing on her. And he isn't the only female muscle head to have fallen for this crossfitter/weightlifter's super-cute + super-thick combination. 2. SUELEN BISSOLATI



How does anyone get anything done in this country? Seriously. Women like Suelen Bissolati walking around, dancing, their "monumental" legs and bombastic bums barely covered as they pound the weights in the gym right before your eyes.



Seriously. Imagine walking into your gym and encountering Suelen in selfie mode. Which of the two outfits above would make you pass out more quickly do you think? The midriff-covering bum-revealing little black number on the left perhaps? Or the abs-revealing my-swelling-thighs-are-gonna-rip-these-leggings-apart fantasy costume on the right? Could your body cope with such urgent, massive blood relocation?



Suelen never seems to run out of new and exciting outfits. And she never seems to stop snapping herself, either. Damn door of the lift hasn't even closed yet (above right) and she's already at it. She's on Facebook. She's on Instagram. I am SWOOONING!

ZOA LINSEY



Zoa, the FMS editorial team decided, has been criminally overlooked on this blog. She always seems to deliver beauty, definition, and some of the most aesthetically-pleasing quads in whatever show or division she competes in (these days it's Physique).




And though these days every woman with a bit of freaky quad development is taking these POV selfies, Zoa's been doing it for years. She may even have invented this mini-genre, so the team also decided that from now on we're calling them "Zoas".




Zoa has been based in Osaka, Japan for a while now, where I imagine she has cornered the market in personal training for those Osakans with the money and desire to get up close and personally-trained by a bona fide blond Canadian muscle goddess.
