Summer Lovin': The Mystery of Angela Heider

She appears to have arrived on the forums more or less fully formed.



I mean, it doesn't look like she started on those muscles recently, does it? That is a body of work right there - check out those forearms in particular, pretty much as big as (if not bigger than) her upper arms!!! And her back (below) - so much to explore!!!



I did my research, and frankly, didn't find much. A couple of pics from 2015 - major progress, I confirmed, has been made - and then at the back end of last year suddenly new images start appearing more regularly. In 2018, however, there's a been even more of her, and I don't just mean she's grown. More and more of her pics are currently going up on the forums. There's not exactly a torrent of them, but this year we have been treated to more new images of her than in the previous three combined.



I tried to find her social media, eventually resorting to posting a "Help Wanted" plea on Girls with Muscle. I didn't have to wait long for the reply - her Instagram page. Champagne corks popped in my head as I anticipated how I would be spending the next two, three, possibly four hours... But then - This Account Is Private

Oh.



Request sent.

It's not unusual. It's fully understandable. I mean, I'm totally cool, the perfect Instagram follower, I like to think, but there are quite a lot out there who bring female muscle lovin' into disrepute, so yeah, This Account Is Private, I respect that. So I waited. And waited. And I'm still waiting. And while I'm waiting, a message comes, a late response to my "Help Wanted" plea on GwM: She is insanely hot! it begins. Only hope to get into her IG it seems is to msg the author of the Saradas post on her.



WHAT?!

I'm still waiting for three replies now. The original from Angela's IG; a reply to my reply to "maximumpecs" (who told me to "msg the author"); and now a reply to my message to the author of the post on the forum whose first rule is... about that assertion.



"Maximumpecs" is definitely right about one thing though, Angela is insanely hot. She seems all grown up too, so why she would need a social media gatekeeper is beyond me. If true, however, whoever that gatekeeper to her IG is, they really should let a few more good guys in, eg. me (obvs.) and (equally obvs.) my informed, respectful, and admiring readership. Nearly 2,000 posts and she only has just over 800 followers?!

FBBUK: Anita Tryc Counts Her Blessings

UK Physique competitor Anita Tryc started her fitness journey back in 2009. Despite having studied at the Academy of Sports Education in her native Poland, she admits she "went downhill". I smoked, and I used to drink too much, as students do, she says. It was after finally giving up cigarettes and gaining 20kg in a month that she decided to get back the fitness she had lost. I was size 16/18, quite a big girl, she remembers. I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror! (She doesn't seem to have that problem now...)



She began running again, and was soon looking to move to England. Beforehand though, a medical check-up revealed a tumour on one of her ovaries. It was borderline, she says. I was told that if it hadn't been found for few more months, it could have turned cancerous. I consider myself a very lucky human being.



Relocation to London complete, Anita set about changing her training as well - I wanted to have muscles and be stronger. Lifting at home progressed to lifting at the gym, and before long she began wondering whether one day she might be able to compete. I wanted to be like Dana Linn Bailey, she says, but when I told people I want to do Women’s Physique one day, they all said I would do OK in Bikini. And, it turns out, nothing could have been more motivating to hear than that. If someone tells me that I can't do something, she says. I will prove to them and myself that I CAN!

And she did. Her first show was in 2015, a qualifier for the UKBFF where her runner's-up placing took her to the national championships. She's been at those British finals every year since, but last year Anita broke into the top 6 for the very first time.

2018 has seen a new approach from Anita though. A new coach - "much stricter than I am used to" - and a prep that has been harder than she has ever known. This is how the professionals do it, she says, and the results are mind blowing! I don't even recognise myself, my conditioning and posing. I have learnt so much, it's like being at school!



And the first sight we have had of this new, improved Anita was at the PCA contest held during the BodyPower Expo. This was her first ever non-UKBFF show, and also, as she lined-up in the Trained Figure class, the first time she'd ever been on stage in heels.



Anita didn't win the show, but there are ways to judge a performance other than by placing. I loved every minute and I couldn't be prouder, she said after seeing herself up there. My best condition ever, my best posing ever... I actually shocked myself!



Not surprisingly, she can't wait to do it again, but in the meantime, that beautiful smile will be staying put - I'm so blessed that I am able to wake up every single morning to work towards my dreams, she says. I'll be coming back and coming back better.

Mixed Messages

Britain's big and beautiful Christal Cornick welcomes you to a selection of muscle women being kind enough to give you something to pretend to read as you gawp.



And it also occurs to me that another advantage for the Madness-stricken, tongue-tied fan faced with a goddess with something on her top might be that it might make you less tongue-tied. At least you have something to respond to. Christal's "Come with me..." is delivered through Arnold, who these days would probably have to add "Unless you're a woman actually interested in developing muscles bigger than a Physique competitor", and the only reasonable response to her invitation would be, "OK".



The same response would be suitable in other situations too.

RACHAEL CHASKEY



Some women really go for these printed tops/vests etc. Rachael Chaskey is definitely one of them. It's hardly news that someone like her is as interested in food as she is in weights, but I do like a good "I can [insert intimidating promise/threat]" message like the one Rachael has on the right. I'd like to think I wouldn't be timid. "I believe you could" sounds pathetic. "Go on then, prove it!" would be much more fun, and afterwards you could get your own T-shirt made - "Rachael can deadlift me".



Now most of these printed tops are fairly succinct, but what if there's A LOT of reading to do? Problems would include actually focusing on the text for long enough when you'd really rather be looking at bits of, for example, Paige, and how to read the whole message without looking like you're staring. By the time you got to the bottom of Phyllis Huang's warning, you'd have already committed the crime you're being warned against. Although I can think of worse fates than being womanhandled by her while trying to excuse my forwardness. "But I don't have my lenses in... Ouch!"



That's much better. Jacquelyn Hickerson and Alexis Ewers give you both barrels, and there's no need to ask what day it is or why they are doing what they're doing. Brief and informative. Side note: I'm impressed by the way Alexis manages to stand next to Jacquelyn and not be completely overshadowed. I've not seen many women do that.

COOL FOR CATS



"Meow" indeed. And I reckon there's not much else you could say in reply. Being a cat owner, I do have a pretty convincing "meow", although on second thoughts, I'd be sorely tempted to use my equally convincing solicitation purr instead, to Tamara Ring (ding ding) and the lovely Jamie. Especially to the lovely Jamie. PURRRR!



If you're going to look like this (ID anyone? - I'd be grateful), then you might as well be brazen as f***. I'd like to think I'd be cool, hold it together, come up with something witty and a perhaps little flirty. Something that would let her know I'm impressed, but not intimidated. If I'm honest though, I'd doubt I'd be capable of much more than a whimpering noise as my head spins, my legs buckle, and I fall at her feet.



Melissa really doesn't have to point. I'm sure she gets plenty of offers. The lady on the left - sweet_joly on Instagram - however, has probably had more offers than she wants. Hence the no nonsense approach. She's a heart-breaker, but then again, aren't they all?

JESSICA MARTIN



The more I see of Jessica Martin (and her wardrobe) the more I like her.



Who wouldn't want to lick every bit of sparkle off her? (Sorry, Jessica).



My donuts are sprinkled by sweaty muscle goddesses with an upper body I want to build my world around, fabric-threatening quad size and definition I can see through said fabric, so marry me Jessica. That's what it's going to say on my T-shirt.



Now these two, it seems to me, really are dangerous. Not so much for the ladies, who I'm sure can handle themselves very adequately, but for the female muscle lovers at their gyms. Struck down by The Madness, their higher brain functions disabled, how many have believed these messages were frank and truly meant for them? They say: And the next thing I remember was the manager saying, "Sir, please leave".

January Clearance! [S-U]

"Too many to feature here" is a phrase I seem to have typed a lot over the past year, referring to the vast number of women and/or images the female muscle head is faced with in these instant information times. On the upside, you never go short. The downside for the blogger is there are far too many to feature here - there I go again.

It felt wrong just to forget about the women we intended to feature at some stage during 2017 but didn't. Firstly, the fact they have come to our attention at all is the result of some pretty solid sifting by the FMS research team, and it would just be plain rude to ignore all that hard work. And secondly, it's not the case that we once thought these women were worth posting about and don't anymore - we still do.

The solution we came up with is The FMS January Clearance - we're going to feature all the women who are taking up space in the "TBC" folder on the 2017 planner. And you're getting them all together in a sort of but not really alphabetical order (you'll see what I mean). Further your enjoyment by clicking on the names.

KAL SHEPPARD



We've seen some Figure ladies with outstanding arm development already this week, but perhaps Kal Sheppard's arms are the most outstandingly developed of them all.



Kal (short for Kalli, apparently) competes in the CBBF, and has made little impression in terms of contest results thus far. Nevertheless, with those arms and those looks, she's gained plenty of attention and has already been snapped by schmotographer Rick Oliver for HerBiceps - which she described as "the most amazing experience".



Expect to see a lot more of her - on the schmotography sites and forums - in 2018.


As names go, this next one's a doozy...

SHELACE SHOEMAKER



And so, it seems, is the name's owner, a recently-carded IFBB Figure pro and mother from Nevada. I’m not much of a talker, she says. So I let my shirts do it for me.



Very eloquent they are too.



And her taste in Halloween costumes isn't too shabby either!


YVONNE TATARA



From Germany, another Figure lady with, as a forum champion of hers points out, "a super V-shape" and much more besides. Too many tats for some, I'm sure, but not too many to prevent her placing 4th in her class at last year's Deutsche Meisterschaft.



If her transformation pics on her IG are anything to go by, it's taken her the best part of five years to achieve her impressively wide-narrow-wide physique, and her many HD workout clips are as exciting as any I've seen recently - she gets quite the pump on.

MANDY URNER



Our next never-before-posted-on-FMS beauty comes to us from the never-before-reported-on-FMS world of Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling via a more recent foray into Figure competition. Mandy, in her wrestling days when perhaps she wasn't a wrestler but a "valet" (whatever that is, I really don't know what I'm talking about here) went by the name "Goddess Mandy", a moniker she still uses for her social media.



She seems to either be leaving or actually to have left her wrestle game days behind her now, and she competed, as far as I know, in both Canada and the US last year, not placing very high but certainly coming away more determined to make her mark in Figure. Can't wait to pack on the gains and blow this chick out of the water next year! she wrote as she entered her 2017/18 off-season. Operation build a back 2.0 is already in full swing. I won't rest until my weaknesses become my strengths.



Not averse to showing it off in its entirety, if some of her racier IG posts are anything to go by. Maybe we should be paying more attention to what is going on in the ECCW...


UUGII GAMBAGAA



Seems another world we have neglected is that of Mongolian Female Bodybuilding.



Uuugii Gambagaa is its leading light by some distance.



The blood of the Great Khan pulses in there somewhere for sure!
