(More) Summer Lovin': Wild & Wholesome

As women who feature heavily in GwM's High Score Today go, Amanda Ballengee is - in my experience - rather unique. Exquisite muscle beauty, one comment reads, but completely different to the usual on this site - no gym pics found at all!



No gym pics found on her Instagram nor website either. Instead we have Amanda picking blueberries (she can pick and carry a lot with those arms). There's Amanda with her gun dog artwork. There's Amanda with her guns (handguns and semi-automatics) and her other weapon of choice, her bow. And there's Amanda "checking cams and taking names" (eh?!) in the West Virginia woodland she calls home.



The title of today's post - Wild & Wholesome - is the name of the blog which you can read on her website, and while she clearly has an affinity for "the wild", just how "wholesome" you find her will be very much a matter of personal opinion. To some, she is simply "a lovely country girl", "a strong, confident woman representative of our Western Christian culture". To others, she is "a crazed Christian conservative".

Summer Lovin': The Mystery of Angela Heider

She appears to have arrived on the forums more or less fully formed.



I mean, it doesn't look like she started on those muscles recently, does it? That is a body of work right there - check out those forearms in particular, pretty much as big as (if not bigger than) her upper arms!!! And her back (below) - so much to explore!!!



I did my research, and frankly, didn't find much. A couple of pics from 2015 - major progress, I confirmed, has been made - and then at the back end of last year suddenly new images start appearing more regularly. In 2018, however, there's a been even more of her, and I don't just mean she's grown. More and more of her pics are currently going up on the forums. There's not exactly a torrent of them, but this year we have been treated to more new images of her than in the previous three combined.



I tried to find her social media, eventually resorting to posting a "Help Wanted" plea on Girls with Muscle. I didn't have to wait long for the reply - her Instagram page. Champagne corks popped in my head as I anticipated how I would be spending the next two, three, possibly four hours... But then - This Account Is Private

Oh.



Request sent.

It's not unusual. It's fully understandable. I mean, I'm totally cool, the perfect Instagram follower, I like to think, but there are quite a lot out there who bring female muscle lovin' into disrepute, so yeah, This Account Is Private, I respect that. So I waited. And waited. And I'm still waiting. And while I'm waiting, a message comes, a late response to my "Help Wanted" plea on GwM: She is insanely hot! it begins. Only hope to get into her IG it seems is to msg the author of the Saradas post on her.



WHAT?!

I'm still waiting for three replies now. The original from Angela's IG; a reply to my reply to "maximumpecs" (who told me to "msg the author"); and now a reply to my message to the author of the post on the forum whose first rule is... about that assertion.



"Maximumpecs" is definitely right about one thing though, Angela is insanely hot. She seems all grown up too, so why she would need a social media gatekeeper is beyond me. If true, however, whoever that gatekeeper to her IG is, they really should let a few more good guys in, eg. me (obvs.) and (equally obvs.) my informed, respectful, and admiring readership. Nearly 2,000 posts and she only has just over 800 followers?!

And to end our week of female muscle weaponry, what I believe (in my typically British ignorance of all things gun) are called 'handguns'.

IFBB pro Ljuba Pantović, quite apart from the 'female muscle militia' costume, is a fighter. She was regional kickboxing champion in her native Serbia in the mid 1990s. I design my body and my power is visible, she says. Check her website for more.

Being a peace-loving Limey, I have absolutely no experience of shooting, or even handling, any kind of real gun (although I did take a few shots at some pigeons with a friend's air rifle once as a child, and am eternally grateful I missed every time). However, I'm pretty sure that what we have today is muscle women and rifles.

Who or where this is is a complete mystery to me. On the one hand, it seems to have all the casual authenticity of the images you see coming out of countries like Libya these days. On the other hand, she looks, to my eyes anyway, a lot like new UKBFF British Physique Champion Ria Ward. Surely not!

Arms of the Day: Lorena Feruzzi

The female muscle freedom fighter...



The first two images that I can remember of a muscle woman 'tooled up' came courtesy of WPW (I think) back in the early 1990s (again, I'm relying on memory). Italian female muscle legend Lorena Ferruzzi provided the beautiful frame to hang the weapons on. That chest in that vest, those legs in those boots. I was innamorato a prima vista (as they say in her hometown of Viterbo) and such is her enduring power over me that all these years later I'm getting all tingly just thinking about that first time.

I would never give less than 100% to the blog, and to you, dear reader, unless it were absolutely necessary to cut a corner or two, and unfortunately this is a week when it is. So slightly lazy posting this week, although hopefully not completely devoid of interest, in the shape of muscle women and their weapons of choice.

Maybe she'll be baaaaack as the super muscular female action hero we've been dreaming about all these years...

right: Andrea Giacomi and a weapon that has something to do with 'Doomslayer', I am reliably told. Afraid that's not my area of expertise, although if knowledge of it was a prerequisite for getting involved in cosplay with the like of La Giacomi, I might be persuaded to read up about it.
