Tube Watch

Our irregularly regular (and happily popular) feature rounding up some of the best new(ish) clips of fine female muscle on You Tube returns for an August installment.

SHAME?

Featured quite heavily in the media here in the UK, the (US) TV show What Would You Do? recently broadcast an episode in response to the (apparently common) practice of "fit shaming". Actors, one male one female, abused a muscular woman as she worked out in public places, with the reactions of passers-by under scrutiny by hidden camera. The muscular woman, also an actor in the show, was identified only as "fitness trainer and competitor Jennifer" in the ABC network blurb for the show, aired on 27th July.

Part 2 you can find here.

Now I know what you are probably thinking, "Yeah, but I'd like to see what happens when they do a show with a proper FBB," but I think you'll agree it is an interesting watch. The reactions to the "bullies" are often passionate, and overall I was left with the feeling that the perception of female muscle has certainly changed for the better.

For Your Consideration

Meanwhile, in the British media, BBC Hindi did a two-minute news piece on "Muscle Woman Madhu Jha" just last week. "Bodyshaping" rather than "Bodybuilding" is what she defines her mission as, and Madhu is muscular in the same unthreatening way as "Jennifer" is, but still, as a glimpse into the life of a muscular British-Indian woman, and the transformation she has made to both her body and her sense of self through weight training, it's no less fascinating than the What Would You Do? experiment.

ANOTHER INSTAGRAM EDIT CHANNEL...

Last Tube Watch, we brought you just some of the many channels that are popping up with edited Instagram clips of our favourite muscle goddesses, all in the name of advertising clicks. Unsurprisingly, now we're looking we've found even more.

Pick of the (new) bunch is HW Motivation, and four plus minutes of the truly huge NPC Physique(!) competitor Courtney Mitten is the pick of their bunch by a distance.

FMS always recommends more Brazilians in your life, and HW Motivation clearly agree. After you've calmed down from Courtney, get that pulse racing again with the help of Leyvina Barros' brand of rather masculine femininity, then for the really big finish Alessandra Alvez: Workout For Massive Legs will, I'm confident, do the trick.

AND FINALLY, AT LAST!

I don't have too many bad words to say about NPC News Online - after all if they didn't exist this blog would be a bit short on contest images to say the least. However, it did take them a while to get their 2018 NPC USA backstage edits up. Happily, they were worth waiting for, none more so than the Women's Physique Backstage Part 1.

I wasn't as bowled over by the line-up at this year's USAs as I have been in past years, but there's something so deliciously erotic about being a spy in the holy pump room.

Sadly, no sign of Part 2 as yet.

However, NPC News Online's tardiness pales in comparison to NABBA's - who only now are putting up some of the female routines from the WFF Universe last year.

Again, though, it's hard to stay angry as you watch the Figure Pros or even the Figure Juniors (Figure girls wear heels and thongs and hit poses in NABBA/WFF contests remember). And as the show was held in Brazil this year, more Brazilian thunder than even we recommend was on display, not least that of Flores Neide in the Extreme Body class, a clip that I had every intention of making my highlight of this post.

Then a few days ago, they put up Gilberia Cunha's routine...

Ai, meu Deus! (as they were probably saying throughout the auditorium and are probably still saying as they flashback to the evening they witnessed this prodigiously uninhibited display of muscular female sex appeal). How's that for your big finish?

The Sexhibitionists: Julie Pereira

imagebam.com

What I wouldn't do just to run my fingertips across your body...

I love your chiselled body. A goddess to worship, I throw roses at your feet.

You are a slayer of hearts and I bet you know it.

All very familiar if you were with us for Phyllis Huang yesterday. A muscular amateur competitor over the age of 40 with a mostly off relationship with clothing is adored by her (mainly male) following on social media. And superficially, yes, the life of Northern Ireland's Julie Pereira has many parallels with Phyllis Huang's.

imagebam.com

Fit and over 40 never felt so good, Julie tells her adoring horde. She invites them to "follow the map on the Vein Gain Train", she "complains" she'll have to spend the entire off-season "au naturel" because none of her clothes fit her now she's got so thick, including a pair of fishnet tights that "won't even pass my bulging hamstrings".

Talk about fish(nett)ing for compliments!

imagebam.com

There are, however, key differences between her and Phyllis, the first of which is that Julie (in British amateur terms anyway) is a serious and successful competitor. Among her achievements are top places at NABBA shows both at regional shows in her native Northern Ireland and on a national level. She's competed at NABBA and WFF World Championships, and last year became the Overall PCA British Trained Figure champion. Do I love the stage? she asks, somewhat unnecessarily. Hell YES!!!

imagebam.com

The other key difference between Phyllis and Julie is best expressed numerically - Phyllis has 18,500 Instagram followers (give or take), Julie has 108,000!

To put this in perspective, Brittany Rhodes - a NABBA Toned Figure queen and a woman whose looks and attitude often see her quoted in the mainstream media like she's the spokeswoman for British female muscle or something, has just over 17,000 IG followers. Louise Rogers, who's been at this a bit longer than Julie (who's trained for competition for just four years till now) has about half as many followers as Julie does. Rosie Harte? 25K. Donna Murphy, UKBFF British Physique champ and the face and body that launched a thousand FitVids purchases? 36K. Carly Thornton gets a bit closer at 60,000, but Julie has 50 followers for every one following NABBA British champ Jayne Tingle. Even Lisa Cross, surely a match for any woman in the "attract a crazy loyal following" stakes, has around 40,000 followers on each of her Instagram accounts. Whatever "it" is that attracts us female muscle heads to certain women in very large numbers, Julie Pereira apparently has quite a lot of it.

Such popularity has allowed Julie to "monetise" her social media via the "Only Fans" route - see also Suzy Kellner for example. What's on her free-to-air social media is just the beginning of her sexibitionism, she promises. I'm sure many of her tens of thousands of fans are currently finding out if that's true. I strongly suspect that it is.

Enjoy a glootilicious Julie at the WFF Worlds in 2016.

She's slightly more covered up than she normally is (out of necessity rather than preference I would guess!), but still, that is a proper sexhibitionist's posing suit.

Enjoy!

Sunday Sizzler

imagebam.com

This week's sizzler comes to you all the way from New Zealand and the WFF.

BJ Brunton is currently all-conquering down there - New Zealand, Queensland, and most recently Southern Hemisphere WFF Figure champion, and it's not hard to see why she's enjoying such success. She does also take pictures of herself with her muscles and veins ever so slightly more covered up. We prefer these though. Obviously.

Physique Dreams: Gilberia Cunha

imagebam.com imagebam.com

I don't know a lot about the WFF (World Fitness Federation) - other than it has a category called "Superbody" - but seeing as Brazilian muscle bomba Gilberia Cunha is the new South American champion, I could be persuaded to find out a bit more.

imagebam.com

Truth be told, I don't know a hell of a lot about Gilberia, either.

imagebam.com

But I know what I like. And she's got it. In spades.

I do know that she has been around since 2013 or earlier, but that this year has seen her make a bit of a breakthrough. As well as WFF South Americans, she's won national and state titles in 2016. And she's also been recruited for work by some of the bigger female muscle paysites - Awefilms, Muscle Angels, and Fit Vids, for example.

Brazilian thighs, "skin like a gum" [© Loana Muttoni] on her sizzling abs. Pumped, vascular biceps. Flames on one arm, a rose on the other, and a big, sexy smile on her face as she watches herself flex in the mirror... What's not to like about her?

imagebam.com imagebam.com

OK, get some fluids on board before proceeding further.

imagebam.com imagebam.com

Watch Gilberia in further sexy flexing action in a Double Biceps preview from 2015 (full video available here), and on the Daily FBB Clips website (not much of a preview, I grant you, but it may make you explore their site more, which is no bad thing).

imagebam.com
I have no idea what was going on here!

More Gilberia on her Instagram.

And here are Gilberia's compulsories at the WFF Sulamerica.

And her ultra-swoonworthy winning routine.

There's almost an hour of Gilberia training on that channel. Fluids! Then start here.

Divertir-se!
